Rapid Growth of firms is not such a common phenomenon. Out of a number of businesses that are started, few become successful and only very few clock rapid growth. What intrigued us was whether there was something in common to these firms that made them successful. Hence we undertook to study three such firms and to see from a higher level the common characteristics. We started this endeavor by making certain propositions with the guidance of Prof. R. Srinivasan. We then went on to check each of these propositions and derive inferences on these three firms. We finally arrive at a comparison of these firms on these propositions and see the common threads running across.
