Abstract: The objective of this CCS is to study the possible future business environment, industrial structure and technological progress for this industry. This project aims to predict the future of Indian semiconductor design industry in the next five years i.e., 2015. The study will concentrate on – 1. Business environment: the areas that may become their prime focus – the strategies for developing in those areas; The technologies that may gain importance and the ones that may become obsolete over the next five years. 2. Industry structure: whether Indian semiconductor design industry will change their strategy from cost-efficiency to value-orientation.
