Workflow review,redisign and productivity improvement in retail bank activities; ANZ Grindlays Bank

Abstract

The objective of the present study is to analyse the present work flow in five Retail Bank departments at ANZ Grindlays Bank, Madras, with a view to improving productivity in the activities performed by these departments. This report outlines recommendations and conclusions which have been arrived at after careful review of the workload, productivity, manpower deployment and machine utilisation. Wherever necessary, recommendations have also been made f or redesign of the layout in the concerned departments.
