dc.description.abstractThe Project is aimed at determining the actual field conditions in which a farmer practises sericulture. This involves finding out the average yield per 100 layings, the number of dfls reared per crop, the mulberry holdings of the farmer, no. of cocoons per kg and other related parameters. Besides this, the reelers were also surveyed and the renditta, denier, etc. were ascertained.
