dc.description.abstract9-week internship included analysis of various private equity proposals sourced by investment bankers and managing directors. Valuation techniques such as DeF, comparable multiples, precedent transactions were used to initially value the deal. Macro economic factors and trends were studied to get a better understanding of the business. Research included secondary research of reports by equity analysts and trade journals, as well as primary research of talking to companies, customers and suppliers. Presentations were made with recommendations and presented to the LP's and GP's of the fund every alternate week.
