They expect the web to become a stronger component of their branding activities and a channeUor dire.ct.sale.s.:in. the future. The first part of my internship saw me doing the Search engine Optimization for their website and solving other structural issues on the site. This part of my work was more technical but needed some market understanding too. Social Media Optimization and strategies to use User Generated Content for their branding activities were looked into. • Understanding communication and information gaps: The second part of my internship was spent in covering Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai and meeting architects and interior designers at each location and understands their needs and wants. Architects drive primary sales for their high performance glasses and they are the people who take a look at their site and the technical details. • Online Strategies: I was asked to develop strategies to drive their online activities with analytical use of my time spent meeting architects and interior designers. I delivered 2 intermediate and one final presentation as part of the project.
