dc.description.abstract | According to Swami Satyananda, who lives in Napa Valley in California, there are three principles that contain the key to a happy and contented life. Swami has authored several books on the subject and they are instructive in the insights they contain. Of course, it is important to cultivate good virtues. There can be no doubt upon this score. Irrespective of whether we are spiritual aspirants or not, we must cultivate qualities that promote harmony between us and the environment we inhabit by helping others selflessly, being hospitable and display concern and caring for others.
