dc.description.abstractThis paper presents summary statistics from NSSO's 52nd Round and the 60th Round nationally representative survey data to profile emerging population and health trends in India over the period 1995-96 to 2004-5. Specifically it presents change in the age distribution and in the incidence of disease for those about 35 years of age for India. The paper concludes by raising a few questions about emerging concerns for our health system
