dc.description.abstractThe article presents the text of a discussion on competition policy and law by faculty members from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore and other key persons. Vinod Dhall stated that the Competition Act was part of reform to ensure that Indian markets are competitive and that the benefits of competition are channeled to consumer welfare and economic efficiency. Rahul Singh discussed the necessity of competition law and its aspects that impact businesses. Deepak Kumar Sinha offered a corporate strategy view of competition law and policy.
