Abstract: This project is to understand the correlation of thyroid disorder in diabetes, hypertension, pregnant and infertility patients and to analyze the behavioral aspects of doctors in managing those specific sets of patients. The prevalence of thyroid disorder in India has increased multiple times in the recent past. An almost 10 years old study says that there are almost 4.2 Cr of thyroid patients in India but only 15-20% of them are getting treatment and remaining 80% are not aware of that they are suffering from hypothyroid. Secondly, high risk patients such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Pregnancy and Infertility are at higher chance of developing thyroid disorders. And most importantly there are not very clear guidelines to treat the patients having co-morbid symptoms. So, understanding the doctor’s perspective here is very important. This project and related outcome of it will help the organization to understand the perspective of physicians and gynaecologists and formulate effective strategies according to that. It will immensely aid in various decision making processes related to the product.
