Abstract: Realization Technologies is trying to launch Project Execution Office (P.E.O.) services in India for organizations that are either executing large projects (more than Rs 500 Crores) or enhancing capacity through expansion projects. Before launching the services, Realization wants to understand the ground realities and situations in typical sectors which undertake large projects either for themselves or for their customers. To provide the guidance on ground realities and facts about particular market sector, the Intern has to select the sector where he wants to work; in this case it turns out to be Energy and Power Sector. The location that is selected for the Intern is Southern India with base location Bangalore. As part of the project, the Intern has to select 5 companies from Bangalore and/or Chennai on which he is going to work in the selected industry sector. The company contacts will be provided by Realization Technologies to the Intern to do research in the selected sector. The Intern also has to try to find his own contacts where he can carry on his research or facilitate others from Realization to take forward. The Intern has to do critical analysis of the situation from his research and has to provide conclusion about benefits of doing projects significantly (20% faster) with less resources to the prospective customers. The Intern needs to provide references and sources used for data collection. Intern also needs to provide business cards of the persons he met or interviewed while performing this research.
