Mohan Kumar, Managing Director of Motorola India Electronics (MIEL), a subsidiary of the telecom software giant Motorola, speaks on the focus of the new vision of MIEL, his business ideas for bringing profitable growth, the challenges he faces as CEO of a company managing software professionals and the responsibility of striking a balance between individual and organisational goals. Speaking about the six-sigma initiative and the enforcement of quality standards in MIEL, he reviews the progress based on the two steps he initiated - creating awareness and motivation among his people and making them see the necessity for change and self evaluation. He shares the multi-cultural experience of the global company and reveals its 'human' face, its participation in community building and healing efforts.-
