Abstract: The aspect of leadership in an indo-Japanese cross-cultural setting from the viewpoint of an Indian manager has been studied for the purpose of this research project. The data presented in this paper have been collected in a number of ways as mentioned in the report itself From ait the data collected, recommendations have been given towards the end of this paper in ordei to facilitate the Indian managers to be able to interact effectively with their Japanese counterparts. Although the data presented in this project report may seem to be similar to that already available in various literatures, I have been able to identify certain additional issues that I was able to pick up during my informal conversations with people in both countries.
