Executive summary True human development requires a wholesome growth of a person from a child into a responsible man who can make the decisions in the most trying of circumstances and stand for what he believes is true. The present school education in India is heavily focused on the academic aspect. This is mainly because of the lack of understanding of alternate career goals as well as a lack of institution ready to experiment and provide the children with opportunities. Another issue of the current education system is the lack of practical learning in the system and a lot of rote learning in the process. These issues have been addressed using an system which will integrate academic learning with arts, crafts and social education. The target is the school dropouts who are not able to cope with the normal academic rigour and thus require special attention. These students will come from a middle class background. The school will provide special attention along with a new method of learning for the student which will focus on his/her strengths. The students will be carefully selected through a well defined set of evaluation criteria. This school will be an alternative from the basic schools while at the same time it will fulfill multiple needs. This will thus require a break from tradition and a sense of exploration from the students as well as the teachers. The marketing strategy will include the service product which is provides multiple services. The price has been set using a competitive parity scale which can be flexible for the beginning. The promotional needs will be carried out through inter-school events. The main advertisement tools will be the pamphlets distributed using newspaper vendors and newspaper advertisements. The financial planning shows that this school will start earning profits over operating costs using basic revenue from the fees in less than five years. The plan is developed using feedback from Bangalore population and the plan is proposed to be started in Bangalore.en_US
