dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to present the manufacture, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of increasing trend Garrett TPE331 Engine over the years and providing insights related to strategies of spare availability in MRO operations and business. The study analysed is on spare parts for MRO services flow in the aeronautical industry, characterising important stake holders: customers and manufacturing shops/centres. The spare parts process requires more attention to build partnerships among stakeholders including OEMs. Also MSMEs can significantly contribute to the indigenous Development and manufacture of components, equipment s, systems and structures for Indian Aerospace and Defence Projects. They can play a vital role by networking with Defence PSUs for maximising the business and also Offset benefits, going forward MSME scan save and earn foreign exchange by attracting national aerospace companies and defence aviation manufacturing to Indian MRO industries.
