dc.description.abstractABHI is the upcoming business under Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited in Financial Services. The business is a joint venture with South Africa s MMI Holdings and plan to launch products in the month of October2016. Through ABHI, ABG will enter the highly under-penetrated Health Insurance market, being the 6thstandalone and overall 26th player. With increase in rare communicable diseases being common, unhealthy lifestyle, increase in medical expenses, awareness about health insurance, its importance and the need to stay healthy has become necessary. ABHI, with a unique proposition of combining Insurance and Wellness is planning to go digital and capitalize on the increased need for Health Insurance in India.
