In the Automotive industry today there are 3buzzwords, electric cars, autonomous cars, car sharing. With these comes the need of improved communications in the form of vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure communication. There are conventional automotive companies of the likes of BMW, AUDI, Ford, Tesla, etc. picking up this opportunity and at the same time electrification of cars is making them look like robots with 4 wheels to the unconventional technology companies which are fighting for their fair share of the pie. Who will win and what opportunities will transform to new widely accepted technologies that we will have to wait and watch. This paper talks about all this in more details and helps us get a clarity on what lies in store for us to witness.
