The objective of the present study was to describe the experiences of Indians who have returned home recently after studying and working abroad in any domain. Most of the research on International human resource management has explored the challenges faced by expatriates on their return to the home country. In the previous study it was noted that Indian returnees from the IT Domain have much different experiences as opposed to other industries. The aim was to focus the study of returnees experience in this orientation and analyze how they differ from other returnee experience. Detailed interviews were conducted with such individuals that fit the profile. Several new dimensions were observed with this new set of interviewees. Studying these new parameters in more detail through focused questionnaire was to enable organizations to manage their socialization processes better.
