Abstract: Innovation is considered to be one of the important factors in helping firms move up the value chain or in fighting the competition. With globally distributed teams and workforce, is strategy of innovation and its implementation plans, drawn up by a corporate office sitting in one corner of the world, effective in a multi-cultural environment? What are the factors enabling innovation at workplace? Are there any inhibitors at work that do not allow innovation to take place? The project aims to understand these impacts if any and factors that are.
