dc.description.abstractThe authors are graduate student of management at 11M Bangalore employed at Infosys Technologies and National Semiconductor respectively. The authors attempt to present a detailed market opportunity analysis for introduction of integrated chip for video processing. This is triggered by expected growth in demand for high end video processing led by an expected surge in demand for high-end televisions due to digitization of home entertainment. And advancement in technology making it possible to develop highly integrated semiconductor solution to address this demand. This report is based on and authors experience in this in this sector and extensive research and references as noted in the bibliography sections of this report.
