dc.description.abstractThis paper examines the subject of 'Globalization of Indian IT industry'. It defines the concept of Globalization in the context of IT industry. It deals with the growth patterns of Global IT industry/Companies (essentially American companies such as IBM, Cap Gemini, Accenture etc.). Then it examines the evolution of Indian IT industry and the barriers faced by the Indian companies. It finally touches upon the challenges ahead for Indian companies and the possible solutions to make the 'Major Leap' to become truly global.
