dc.description.abstractChina has fast emerged as a most sought for FDI destinations by numerous MNCs from around the world and in various sectors. The study aims at analyzing the strategies MNCs follow to enter and then expand in the Chinese market by taking examples each from five very different and yet promising industries. An attempt is made to gauge the attractiveness of these industries for MNCs and some strategies have been recommended which MNCs should follow to enter/operate in China. Finally, it concludes by elaborating at the changing perspectives for MNCs in emerging markets like China.-
