dc.description.abstractIn this project, we propose to study a generalization of Polya-type urns. We follow an approach whereby we simulate the dynamics using R and thereby study the convergence of the underlying urn process. In particular, we simulate an urn with balls of four types of colors and heuristically show the asymptotic stability of the uniform distributions on the colors. Further, we propose to extend our simulation results to more complex dynamics e.g. dynamics based on graph-based interaction between multiple urns.
